Floating Drip Tray 200 mm // Plant Saucer
This minimal drip tray offers effective runoff for excess water draining from your flower pots and planters. The inner pedestal creates an illusion of the pot floating above the tray, while remaining subtle and unobtrusive. The angled walls contain water despite being only 12mm tall. The full diameter is 200 mm and the pedestal is 80 mm -- ideal for pots with a base from 100 mm to 180 mm in diameter. I also have a larger 250 mm version here.
Printing Guidelines
Print with sufficient wall thickness to create a watertight part. I used 3 shells, and 10 top solid layers, 20% gyroid infill and 3 bottom layers. Depending on your printer, you may need to increase shells, top solid layers, and flow/extrusion multiplier.
Photographed models were printed on the Bambu Lab X1-Carbon 3D Printer using Bambu Lab Matte Black PLA filament and Fillamentum PLA Extrafill Luminous Green and Sky Blue (also at MatterHackers).* *These affiliate links give me a commission on sales at no additional cost to you.
