This conceptual shoe design demonstrates how nTopology can be used to incorporate complex triply period minimal surfaces (TPMS) into CAD objects. See here for video: https://youtu.be/yAXaCHmYq3g 

The basic structure of the shoe is designed parametrically in Onshape.

Three different orientations of the gyroid TPMS are incorporated into the upper, midsole and outsole using nTopology’s conformal cell maps. Thickening and blending of boundary edges are done using field driven design.

UPDATES
V6 - Fixed firing reliability issues across the board. Made assembly easier, bands don't need convoluted mounting any more. Made the design easier to print. Dozens of small tweaks... this may be the final version, we'll see after I make 2 and test.
V5 - Display Stand, nubs on top to keep the bands a bit separated so they don't pinch the release catch, fatter release for wider bands, magazine tapered and smoothed at the corners to help with band release
V4.1 - Small bed version added (front and back pieces)
V4 - Less tweaking needed to get full auto working, smoother operation, left and right hand versions, NOTE, Elastic release may be updated shortly, trying to get the full auto to be more reliable so changing the angles a lot.
V3 - Complete overhaul of internals after testing, way more reliable now
V2 - Shoe mechanism changed for rocker, doesn't 'mag dump' or double fire in full auto now.

This works by loading bands onto a rear rotating square magazine which is kept from rotating forwards by a rocker. Note: Load the magazine with the bolt locked forward to prevent it from hitting the rocker.

When you release the bolt it will cycle backwards knocking a bulge on the rear of the elastic catch into the rocker causing it to rotate a quarter turn. This will load a band onto the catch, which is then held in place by the bolt getting stopped by the trigger sear. When you pull the trigger, the band on the catch pulls the bolt forward and releases the band towards your target, then another small band on the bottom of the catch pulls the bolt back and the catch hits a shoe again allowing the magazine to rotate another quarter turn. This repeats with a satisfying noise, the bolt cycling back and forth like a real open bolt SMG, and lots of rubber flying towards your intended victim, and good fun is had by all hopefully.

Holds 8 rounds one at a time or 1 15 if your really feeling lucky (V4 made this much more feasible). I MAY try a hex version that will increase capacity by 50% in V6.

M3x8~12 Screws - Goes into body below mag catch
M3x6~8 x2 Screws - Holds connecting rod between bold and band release
M3x16~20 Screws x10 - Holds the whole thing together, self tapping
Loom sized band x2 - Goes around that screw and over mag catch to hold it down | Goes over bottom of release and post behind trigger to keep rear tension on bolt
3mmx20mm rods x5 - Through all moving parts
Bic pen spring - goes in small channel under sear to provide upwards pressure

**Sloffies or plakkies are what we call flip-flops/slides in Afrikaans, my language.**

I have included a PDF with a size chart, print instructions and assembly instructions. 
I have included files to print your own packaging for your Sloffies. 
I printed the Sloffies and straps with a 95a TPU and the packaging with PLA.
I have included a test_print file you can slice to test the correct Infill Density for your TPU. 
I have included a sloffies_strap openSCAD file you can use to customize the strap to fit.

From feedback I have received for the sloffies sole to have more squish when printing with 95A TPU, it is suggested to change the infill percentage from the suggested 15% to 10%.
&nbsp;

This Skull Jewelry Set includes a necklace, choker, bracelet, and different sizes of rings and earrings!

The pieces that contain multiple skulls use a unique print-in-place ball-and-socket joint that allows the finished print to fully turn, twist, and rotate. See below for details and printing instructions

Necklace: The Skull Necklace is provided in two versions: a closed-loop 36-skull version and an open-loop 35 skull version. Both prints have an outside print diameter of 177mm and a finished length or circumference of approximately 50cm. The closed-loop version is too small to fit over most heads but can be used as a prop. The ends of open-loop version are connected using string or elastic. Multiple necklaces and chokers can be combined to make some serious skull bling. 

Choker: The 19-skull Choker print has an outer diameter of 111mm and finished length of approximately 28cm.  The ends are connected using string, ribbon or elastic. Multiple necklaces and chokers can be combined to make some serious skull bling. 

Bracelet: the 20-skull Bracelet print has an outer diameter of 111mm and finished circumference of approximately 28cm.  

Rings: The rings are provided in sizes 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13 to fit all fingers and thumbs. There are plenty of online sizing guides if you are not sure what size you need. 

Earrings: Skull Earrings are provided in single and multiple-skull dangling versions. You will need some standard earring hooks and ¼” jump rings to attach to the embedded loop on the top skull.

Here are some additional printing instructions related to the print-in-place ball-and-socket joints:

The inner spheres print on top of tiny supports within the cavity of the neighbouring skull. Once printed, a light twist of each skull frees the ball within the cavity and the skull chain can turn and bend. Be sure to let your print fully cool first! If the plastic is still soft, the connector may break when you try to move it.

Plan your supports carefully. A suggested technique using Cura is to raise the object of the build plate by 3mm, and then add tree supports underneath. Switch “Support distance priority” to “xy overrides z” and tighten up the “xy support distance” to 0.1mm.

This kit contains all the digital parts you need to design your own basic running shoe. 
These files are not meant to be printed directly. First, you will need to import them into your favourite 3D design software to texture, size, and combine according to your creative preferences. Final designs can be printed as you wish.
Note that this is a concept design kit. Shoes have not been tested for functional "wearability."
All parts are for the left shoe, but most programs have an option to “mirror” the object to create the right shoe.
These files are optimized for use with nTopology but can be used with most 3D editing software.
To create a basic, non-textured shoe, simply import, combine, and print your choice of the following files: “Outsole”, “Midsole”, “Upper”, “Toe Cup”, “Heel Counter”, “Heel Pull”, “Tongue” and “Laces”. If multicolor printing is an option, you may choose to print some parts in different colours.
This kit provides additional tools to customize three areas of the shoe: upper, the outer face of the midsole, and the outsole (or tread). 
Upper
For the upper, surface texture can be applied directly to the “Upper” file. There are also two upper surfaces provided in Parasolid format. “Upper Surface” aligns with the outer surface of the upper and can be used to create conformal cell maps for “lightweighting” the upper volume with lattice or TPMS structures. “Upper Surface Mid” conforms to the middle of the 3mm thick upper volume and can be used to reference surface lattices and Voronoi structures.
The “Topline Edge Field” file is provided to facilitate field driven design approaches to thickening or modifying structures along the topline of the upper. The other shoe components can also be used to apply field driven design to other areas and boundaries of the upper.
Midsole
The outer face of the midsole is the most common are for texturing or modifying, while the inner surfaces of the midsole are usually left smooth. “Inset Midsole” has an inset volume along the outer face of the midsole. It is 2mm deep, with a 2mm border. The midsole inset volume can be textured or modified separately and recombined with the “Inset Midsole” to create the final midsole.
For the midsole inset volume, surface texture can be applied directly to the “Midsole Inset Volume” file. There are also two midsole inset volume surfaces provided in Parasolid format. “Midsole Inset Outer Surface” conforms with the outer surface of the midsole and can be used to create conformal cell maps for “lightweighting” the upper volume with lattice or TPMS structures. “Midsole Inset Mid Surface” conforms with the middle of the 2mm deep midsole inset volume and can be used to create surface lattices and Voronoi structures.

Outsole
For the outsole, texture can be applied directly to the “Outsole” file. The “Midsole” is also provided in Parasolid format to allow the bottom face to be used to create conformal cell maps or surface lattices. 
The “Outsole Edge Field” file is provided to facilitate field driven design approaches to thickening or modifying structures along the edges of the outsole.
Sample Shoes
There are three sample shoes that demonstrate volume modification using surface texturing, conformal cell maps and surface lattices. To facilitate FDM printing, none of the sample shoes have outsole texturing.
“Shoe Example – Textured” demonstrate two types of surface texturing applied to the upper and midsole inset volume
“Shoe Example - Cell Map” demonstrates application of a conformal cell map define a gyroid TPMS structure in the upper, and a square honeycomb lattice structure in the midsole.
“Shoe Example – Lattice” uses the “mid surfaces” to demonstrate two different types of surface lattice applied to the upper and midsole.
Socks?
Turn your shoes into playful vases, planters or pencil holders with these socks. To ensure that the socks fit onto the shoes, do not use the “Tongue” object in your shoe design.
