This is a 4 unit wide by 1 unit deep by 1/4 unit high hook up wire spool holder. This is compatible with common wire hookup kits such as: [https://www.amazon.ca/CBAZYTM-Stranded-Gauge-Colors-Electrical/dp/B075M8DGYX/](url)

It will work with most common spool sizes, and uses a 6mm rod (as supplied with most kits). There are 6 threading holes at the front.

**UPDATE**

I added the source file as per request, but it isn't parametric so heads up.

_I removed the raised front panel as it was pushing the spools back too far, the holes are in the gridfinity body now._

Contrary to Zach's instructions, I've been printing all my modules with a 0.8 nozzle, which seems to work just fine. This was printed with Black eSun PLA PLA at 75mm speed on an ender 3 pro with 0.8 nozzle and 0.32 layer height without support.

These bit holders are parametric, a group of 9 bits will be generated for each module deep and wide selected. Values bitSize controls the bit shank (6.25mm or 4mm usually) and slopSize controls the extra 'space' around the holes. I find a value of 0.2 works well here.

If you lower the extrusion of the holes from 10 to 5 they work well for holding MK8 compatible hot end nozzels as well.

You can use the .f3d archive to edit the parameters as you choose. You can also go into the sketch and adjust the spacing directly, or edit the extrusion and choose if you would like the strain relief lines or not. I've uploaded some pictures of my customized ones as an example.

This is similar to other parametric models, but this is OpenSCAD based.

Turns out its hard to fit a grid of a different dimension inside another grid of a different dimension reliably without relative alignment. But it's been done, so here you go.

This is a gridfinity 1x2 with 2x3 tray routes for six total trays.

There is also a lid that can be printed should you want to keep your parts contained and separated.

~If I find a bigger use for this I will fix the code to be properly parametric.~ It has been done.

I wanted to share my latest creation with you all. A new Kirby model that serves as a headphone holder. Not only can it hold your headphone flawlessly, but it also makes for a great decoration piece! 😎

This little guy stands at 150cm tall, providing the perfect fit for AirPods Max. I also tested it with smaller headphones, and they fit just fine too.
This model is a multipart model, which means that you can print it in multicolor using your single extruder printer.
