I Love 3D Printing Gag Gift Mug - My printer/filament decided it needed some stringing for extra authenticity as well.

I have a near 100% failure record with white filament (just white!), ironically the mug finished without any other issue than the stringing (filament's been open for a year or two). - 3d model
I Love 3D Printing Gag Gift Mug - Sliced for my 0.6mm nozzle, printed on my 0.4mm nozzle by accident.
So 0.4mm layer height on a 0.4mm nozzle.
Filament run out just before a power out of 2 hours.
Print came loose from the bed.
So here we have a true masterpiece. - 3d model
I Love 3D Printing Gag Gift Mug - 2nd attempt
Ender 3 S1, 0.4mm hardened nozzle
Layer height 0.4mm
No support - 3d model

Clogged nozzles, layer shifts, poor layer adhesion… anyone familiar with 3D printing will recognize these!

Are getting or giving a 3D printer this holiday season? This model is the perfect first print! Just hit print and walk away. Any flaws will only make it better!

3D designing and printing teaches us to expect mistakes, plan for them, fix them and try again. If you are new to 3D printing, you can expect to have more than a few prints that come out looking something like this mug.

Disclaimer: All flaws in this model are intended and don’t represent the quality of the brands shown! Lulzbot makes excellent printers and eSun makes excellent filament. Both are great options for avoiding the 3D printing pitfalls that you see in this print!
