These brackets mount to your 3D printer and allow you to put Gridfinity storage blocks right where you need them! These work especially well for the [Gridfinity 3D-printer accessory kit](https://bit.ly/3jtTfWu).

If you need more adjacent slots, just print multiple baseplates and butt them up against each other. *I STRONGLY recommend magnets or screws so you don't knock stuff into your printer!*

**Anycubic Vyper/Kobra**: Also fits any printer made of extrusion with 6mm slots. Mount to your printer's frame with [M5 hammer nuts for 6mm slots](https://amzn.to/3jzbOZb) and [M5x12mm countersunk screws](https://amzn.to/3xoGLHV). Remember to measure countersunk screws from the TOP OF THE HEAD!

The **sidecar** baseplate mounts to the base frame, parallel with the floor, a lot like the included filament holder. The **top-mount** baseplate mounts on the Z axis crossbeam or base frame. *Make sure the gantry, extruder, and plate don't collide with your Gridfinity!*

**Lulzbot**: Fits the upward-facing edges of the top crossbars. This one is a real pain in the butt to install.

**Prusa**: Slides on over the steel frame, no fasteners required. *THE BASEPLATE AND EXTRUDER MUST BE ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE FRAME!*

**Snapmaker**: Mount to the optional enclosure with [M5 hammer nuts for 6mm slots](https://amzn.to/3jzbOZb) and [M5x12mm countersunk screws](https://amzn.to/3xoGLHV). Remember to measure countersunk screws from the TOP OF THE HEAD! I didn't make one for the printer itself, sorry!

**Toolchanger**: Mount to the top of the printer with three button head M3x5 screws. *Don't use longer screws! They won't fit!*

- Wider bins can curl, so maximize your bed adhesion if you're going big!

I couldn't find a set of drawers that weren't somehow a compromise for me... I had these requirements.

1. Standard height bins (like the snazzy vase mode ones with the labels)
2. Compact, with just 4 bin wide and 3 bin short
3. No supports for printing
4. Stackable without too much headache

I had a few iterations and this is the one that I like. The drawers have about .5mm gap all the way around to account for any warping on a normal draft print. The pulls on the front have fillets to eliminate supports. I printed the drawers in 3 different quality settings and found no discernible difference in the fitment.

The carcass has big openings in the back to ease in the opening and closing of the drawers. On early iterations, it had that extremely satisfying piston effect with really tight tolerances… but I couldn't get the dang drawers open. So this gives me better function. 

The little feet will nest nicely in the mated extrusion in the top, with a little taper to the feet for a snug fit. I considered reversing the extrude on the feet to recess it for magnets top and bottom. Still, after some time, it seemed unnecessary to stick them together like that… it was more secure than simple stacking but not as secure as some fastener, so it just wasn't worth the extra post print work to me.

I included the fusion 360 drawings. It is based on a Gridfinity parametric base ([I can't figure out who the original author is but here's the link](https://myhub.autodesk360.com/ue2b114c8/g/shares/SH35dfcQT936092f0e439591db365903a026)) I found on Reddit, which I butchered during my process… so no more parameters unless you like chaos. Originally I was going to make it empty and drop in a pre-printed base but found this template to grab. I am a TOTAL noob when it comes to 3d printing, so simmer down when you see all my inefficient methods. :-)

I needed a tool I could not find (and was happy to procrastinate on the next project by working on this one first). I wanted a quick set of reference radius gauges to use when designing. I needed interiors and exterior curves, and then decided to park them all in a Gridfinity base.

This set covers 10-25 mm sizes, and they all live inside a handy Gridfinity storage box when not in use. The box is fitted to each size, and all slots are labeled for ease of use.

Then, I liked this set so much, I made another set for the [1-10mm sizes in a pocket-friendly package](https://thangs.com/mythangs/file/871761).

Looking now, I see a few similar kits which are all nice. Anyway, here's mine.

_Please note_ This tool gives the _radius_ size, but many cad programs use _diameter_ sizes when drawing circles.

Zack Freedman's Gridfinity 'Blank Frame' and 'Blank Storage' re-implemented in FreeCAD.

The FreeCAD file contains an object 'dd' (DynamicData), where the parameters may be set in the section 'User Settings' of the property editor (Columns, Rows, Height, Set_screw_holes).
This is a complete rebuild compared to what I uploaded on 2022-06-16, several bugs of the old version fixed.

One exported .stl file is enclosed as an example: Gridfinity blank storage bin, 3x2 units wide/long, 3 units high, no screw holes in the magnet pockets in the base.

If you want other sizes (eg 5x3, 2x4) use the .f3d file in Fusion 360 to change the rectangular pattern. Or maybe message and ask me nicely :)

**Design description**
This is a gridfinity holder for the Xiaomi Wowstick 1F+ (plus) and its 56 bits. Also holds the base and (de)magnetizer. May also be compatible with the 1F Pro, not sure what the differences are.

Based on [ZachFreedmans](https://thangs.com/designer/ZackFreedman) gridfinity design system and used the [iFixit Gen 2 Holder](https://thangs.com/designer/ZackFreedman/3d-model/Gridfinity%2520iFixit%2520Mako%2520%252B%2520ES121%2520Screwdriver%2520Holders-60744) as a starting point.

I noticed that the longer bits make the design not stackable upon, so I added a V2 (untested) that allows you to store the longer bits in a separate compartment on top. You'll need to take out the accessories as well to be able to stack upon.

This uses a 5x2 grid size and is about the same size as the included magnetic mat.

Base 2x2 plate for Gridfinity that holds 608 bearing along with cup. Plan is to design inserts for the cup for different modeling tool sets like riveting tools. 

Update 01-19-23: A new version of the base has been released to remove the wobble in the original design. This should be a plug-in replacement for bases without the need to re-print existing cup or inserts.

These single unit Gridfinity bins are designed to be printed in “vase” or “spiralized” mode. Spiralized mode is the best option to use with clear filament to get transparent walls. Spiralized printing is also the best way to print with multicolour filament!

The bins are compatible with the Gridfinity modular storage system designed by Zack Freedman: https://thangs.com/?category=Gridfinity#content . They will fit on to the baseplates found here: https://social.thangs.com/m/60925 . 

The geometry in the base of the bin also creates holes for the standard 1/4”x”1/8” (6mmx3mm) cylindrical magnets that are used in the Gridfinity system.

There are two versions optimized for different nozzle sizes. The  “Small Nozzle” file is designed for .5mm and smaller, the “Large Nozzle” files is designed for .6mm and larger.

I fiddled with the original parametric source to make a 5 bay 2x3.

In order to make this work, the first/front bay is very shallow. It fits a pair of small handled pliers well, but won't fit an ergonomic/thick handled tool.

I also removed the screw holes through the Gridfinity base (magnets are still in place) because they ended up interfering with the racks.

A gridfinity based syringe stand that can support 5-35cc syringes of various sizes with or without their needles. Use the SCAD files to parameterize your print.

The base has a shallow recess to collect any accidental drips for easy cleaning. I have left the outer gridfinity flange on the base as a safety measure in case the syringe completely leaks out.

The holder ring on the stand has integral supports for better printing without support material. These double as holes to store most spare luer lock based needles and applicators.

I use this for my 10cc Amtech flux syringes.

The holder STL is for 15mm diameter syringes with a need+barrel length of 110mm. The base STL is interchangeable.

The holder portion can take some force to press into the base as it has press-fit latching notches.
