Here’s a design for 2 Axis RaspberryPi remote IR camera module. The design went through several adjustments, but at the current stage, everything snaps together quite well with some room for improvement (described briefly in ‘Todo’).
The horizontal axis sits on the vertical bearing to provide greater stability, and everything is joined together using various M2 and M3 bolts (I used longer ones and cut them to size).
There’s a little gap between the 2nd axis arms and it can be a bit tricky to fit the top part (after pre-assembly) inside, but with a slight bend, it should fit right in.
Don’t hesitate to leave suggestions and questions regarding the design!
