Magnet Click Pen (Pilot G2 Mod)

Used to pick up and release 10mm or 3/8mm steel marbles for Hextraction.

Hardware Required

• A Pilot G2 07 Pen. Not tested with other G2 variants, but should work.
• Two 6x2mm Magnets
• One M3x25mm screw

Assembly Instructions

1. Unscrew the G2's barrels, remove the ink cartridge and spring. Discard the ink cartridge and lower barrel.
2. Glue two 6x2mm magnets together, then onto the MagnetPen Cartridge's tip. Hand alignment required. Allow for dry time.
3. On an M3x25mm screw, stack a MagnetPen Washer, then the spring, then another washer. The flanges of the washer must face the spring.
4. Insert the MagnetPen Cartridge into the MagnetPen Barrel Lower, hold the cartridge with needle nose pliers close to the barrel, then install the screw sub-assembly into the cartridge. Tighten the screw until it bottoms out.
5. Insert a MagnetPen Adapter into the G2's upper barrel, then screw the upper and lower barrels together.
6. Test the screw depth by clicking the pen down, and picking up a ball. If the balls wiggles around the barrel, disassemble and tighten the screw deeper.
