8x8x8 RGB LED Cube Cut and Bend Jig

Designed this small jig to help cut the leads on 5mm RGB LEDs and bending the leads after cutting them so all of them are equal ahead of soldering them for assembling of an 8x8x8 RGB LED cube. The kit I used was the iCubeSmart from amazon.

Order of operation:

1. Insert LED into the main base. 2.Insert both bending jig plates securing LED into base (note the key posts on the plates) 3.Insert the cutting jig. 4.Cut leads flush with wire cutter. 5.Remove cutting jig. Bend wires into adjacent grooves with tweezers. 6.Push LED out by placing base on top of the push out base.

Designed for 5mm LEDs.

Printed on 0.2mm layer height, supports only of the bending jig to preserve narrow bending grooves' quality.
