This is a fun and effective patio accessory. A great addition to any home or restaurant patio…. sun shade for your beverages. This is my 3rd generation of this design and it is awesome. It is essentially a drink coaster that keeps your beverages cooler under the sun. With its built-in wall, this accessory creates a blissful oasis of shade right where you need it most – on your drink! A perfect gift for patio lovers.
To use it, simply rotate it so that the wall casts a shadow over the coaster and drop your cold beverage on it. Keeping the sun off your drink slows the warming and keeps your drink colder longer.
The coaster has hidden flip-out stabilization legs in case there is a wind. The flip-out feet
Print-in-place, 100% printed (no hardware, fasteners, or adhesives required). No additional support is required. Do not add support.
Print Settings:
I have tested this design on multiple printers using PETG and PLA. Print settings can vary significantly between users so please note my settings and let me know if you are having difficulty. I am committed to helping everyone get great print results to the extent I can so please contact me if you are having issues.
Material = I recommend PETG but any material should work.
Nozzle = 0.4mm
Layer height = 0.2mm
Line width = 0.4mm
Wall count = 4 (1.6mm)
Infill = 40%
Ironing = ON (recommended but not critical)
