This model is made to combine 2 things: a personal color-swatch-collection and ‘fidgeting’. I ended up making this flexible chain of color-swatch-links that just snap together after printing. And to top it, I designet a little cute astronaut head to go on top. This is a permanent resident on my desk now :-)

Overview There are multiple style of the links. You can print one or more in every color - whatever you feel like.

  • Basic Link
  • Hollow Link
  • Layers Link (to see the layer-transparency - 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 mm)
  • Bridge Link (to see bridging capabilities)
  • Shapes Link (to see tiny shapes / retraction) And then of course the optional (but cute) astronaut-robo-head ;-)

Assembly When printed, simply snap them together. Too tight? Use a lille sandpaper and sand down the pointy bit a litte - quick and easy fix!

Print instructions Here is a few ideas for slicer-settings:

  • Speed on first layer: 50% (To ensure good bed adhesion take your time here!)
  • Supports: NO supports
  • Brim: NO brim Happy printing!
