My name is Javier Serra and thanks to my passion for design and 3D printing I created my own studio: creaserra

I am currently an industrial design and mechanical engineering student based in Madrid.

My goal is to create functional models that benefit from the advantages offered by FDM technology, to share them with you, as well as to learn about this new manufacturing method and develop my skills as a designer, always taking into account the environment. A minimalist ruler design whose triangular, tent-like shape makes it easy to handle as well as serving as a pen or pencil holder.

Everyone has problems when lifting a flat ruler from the paper because it slips off. With Tent this doesn't happen anymore, because thanks to its shape you can easily pick it up.

It is a 15 cm ruler, with markings every centimetre, so it can also be used for measuring.

Printing It has been designed so that it can be printed without the need for supports. I used a layer height of 0.15 mm and a 100% infill or cover the entire thickness with wall lines.
