An Oblivion Gate from The Elder Scrolls.

Modelled by myself in Blender, it's designed around using an RPI Pico, a small section of an LED strip (12 LEDS with density of 144/m), and a 12.5cm x 6.0-6.25cm x 4mm (Height, Width, Thickness) piece of acrylic/plexiglass. It has mounting poles for the Pico. The reason for the range of the width is to give flexibility if cutting your own acrylic and it gets messy, that's the wiggle room in the sides of the oblivion gate.

Originally made it before I had a resin printer, so I can verify it works well with an FDM printer, but should work for resin as well if you place supports manually. Some areas are lower poly and make show up more in a resin print, but a quick bit of post processing should fix it up. For FDM this isn't much of a concern.

The idea is, once assembled, the acrylic would be etched or diffused around the edges to give the illusion of it being an active portal, with the centre remaining clear. For the RPI Pico, it needs to be programmed to give the LEDs a more or less fire-like effect.

The photo doesn't do it justice, regrettably. The colours down show well in the camera, and while post processing it I had accidentally broke some parts off. This would likely not have happened with a resin print as the areas that broke were issues caused by my FDM printer.
