Further to the incredible Photonsters PTC Heater Unit given to us by X3msnake (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3442165 ) , I looked for an alternative support mechanism to magnets. With that in mind I designed two very basic holders:
- A corner support to fit inside the lid of large printers like the Mono X and Saturn.
- A simple forward facing holder. Mine fits easily in my Mars 2 Pro.
I confess I haven't printed no.2 since tinkering, so if it isn't right, let me know. But in principle...
a) Print the holder b) Check it fits inside the lid without interfering with the Z Arm and plate c) Bond the holder in position with strong adhesive d) Push the heater in
