This model is a mashup of two of my favorite hotend/part cooling solutions for my Ender 3v2. The basis is Victor Bared's Minimalist hot end shroud (https://youtu.be/TJxpiLG73dM), reconstructed and modified; and Whistleblower's 5015 part cooler (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4666359k).

The combination offers a compact and efficient replacement for the stock solution and provides good and reliable part cooling. Plus it is possible to do almost any hotend maintenance without removing the cover, nozzle swaps are easy with everything left in place. Blower fans are just slotting in, it is advised to fix them with at least one M2 bolt each unless you choose to use the OpticsCover which will hold the cooling fans in place.

I recommended to print with Extrudr Green-Tec Pro PLA (prints at normal PLA settings, cures within a week and then is heat resistant to just under 200°C) to avoid heat damage over time - due to the compactness vast parts of the model are very near to the heater block! Normal PLA is a definite No-Go, PETG may last a while but requires frequent replacing.

Edit 23-05-24: Revised models for stock, Spider 3 Pro and Spider Speedy hotends - all vary in nozzle position and therefore require slight modifications in the cooling ducts. All models have a closed back plate - hotend tinkerers are recommended to fit some sort of connectors into their heater and thermistor wiring. Needless to say any hotend change requires adjusting z-offset and nozzle-to-probe-offsets

If you intend to convert your Ender 3 v2 to direct drive and happen to have a BMG extruder on hand, check out my conversion mount bracket: https://thangs.com/mythangs/file/49736
