I made this because the original lens cap broke. So I took some time to make it as good as I could, and make it fully and easily customizable.
It's meant to work with whatever springs you have lying around.
With this you will get a f3d file (and stl's), and all you need to do is go to parameters and change “cap_diameter”, “spring_diameter” and “spring_length” to your needs, and you got the perfect lens cap for your lens. It's that easy. It does all the adjustments needed, to make sure the springs are tight and all that jazz. But there are also lots more features you can easily change.
If scaling down the cap, I recommend changing the the spring size first, then the cap diameter. And if scaling up, cap diameter first, then spring size. Sometimes if you do it the opposite way, it wont like that.

There is both a single cap and a double cap. They are both great, so it's all preference.
