Versions included for the original Apple Magsafe puck and the new 1m/2m Apple Magsafe pucks (which have a braided cable).
Print Recommendations: Print Material: PLA Infill Percent: 15% Perimeters: 2 Layer Height: .15 (larger layer heights will not work as this model requires a precise fit) Supports: NONE Print Orientation: Place the bottom of the base against the build plate (essentially in the orientation that it will be used). Place the back of the Magsafe puck holder against the build plate.
Additional Parts Required: • Double Sided Tape • Amazon Link to 3M .4 inch double sided tape https://a.co/d/3n44GFr (This adhesive twists off easily and doesn't leave residue.)
Assembly: • Use a small amount of double sided tape to secure the base. • Lock the Magsafe puck holder into the base by rocking it in from the side. • Pop the Magsafe puck into place and push the cable in from the back.
Tip: Some PLAs will be affected by the heat of the Magsafe puck when charging, causing it to loosen in the mount. Secure the Magsafe puck with a small piece of double sided tape if you have this issue.
