A small but not tiny santa hat ... and it's a springo!
By making this springo thinner but with a taller helix pitch, I was able to reduce the material and time to print, while keeping the right springy properties for the perfect jiggle of this hat.
Printing Guidelines
- 0.16mm layer height
- 4-5 perimeters (so the springo part is solid)
- 12% infill
- no supports
- optional I used a modifier in Prusa Slicer to turn on 'Fuzzy Skin' for only the white sections (0.3mm skin thickness, 0.4mm point distance)
- the color changes are simple material swaps I did at z:18.62mm and z:99.9mm
Download include the original version with a hollow hat, as well as a 'comb' version meant to help hold this in your hair... I haven't tested that version yet, to be honest!

How do I make sure it doesn't print stuck together like I can't separate it at all even with a razor blade could someone advise what setting would make it separatable. My printer is a Creality hi
Possible things that help: reduce temperature, increase cooling, lower flow%/extrusion multiplier, increase print speed.

sticking a knife in it and slicing along the spring seemed to do the trick
Yup. Depending on the level of adhesion, sometimes it will come apart by hand, sometimes I'll use a pallet knife, and x-acto knife (carefully!) for some stubborn springos
