Hollow Mountains // Mt. Everest Totem + Plant Holder
byMake AnythingMount Everest, the Earth's crown jewel, is a stunning, snow-capped peak that rises majestically above the Himalayan range. Its towering height and breathtaking beauty have captivated explorers and adventurers for centuries, making it a symbol of human ambition and the grandeur of nature. This hollowed model adds a lightness and delicacy that contrasts with the dramatic form of this remarkable form.
Printing Guide
This model prints on its side to accomplish the hollow structure without requiring support material on well tuned printers. I would suggest a generous brim (5-12mm) to help with bed adhesion. To prevent warping nozzle temperature and extrusion multiplier should not be excessively high. Smaller layer heights will help with the overhangs and overall detail.
The photographed model was sliced using 'Fuzzy Skin' mode with 'Fuzzy skin point distance' and 'Fuzzy skin thickness' both set to 0.2 mm and printed at .12 mm layer height.
The wild coloration comes from Sunlu Tri-Color Red Yellow Green Silk PLA (Amazon) or (Sunlu). Printed on the QIDI Q1-Pro 3D Printer*
