Ipod Classic (5th Gen) Charging Base

A simple charging base for the 5th gen Ipod Classic (model A1136) that uses a 2 piece friction fit clamp to hold the cable in as the Ipod is inserted in and out. I have been using this for well over a year and it still has yet to loosen up even a little. Once you print off all three pieces the two smaller clamp pieces just go around the charging cable, no glue or anything is needed to hold it on, just hold it together with your fingers and line it up with the bottom of the base and press into the base, both halves should be fairly tight. The cable clamp only goes in one way so make sure you line it up as well as the charging cable itself before pressing in. Once it is pressed in check to see if it moves by inserting your ipod and if it does adding a little bit of hot glue on the underside should help, then just route the cable through the channel on the underside of the base and add some rubber feet if you like.
