ATTENTION! I have a egg bot painting contest running until Good Friday the 29th of March! Details here: https://x.com/Jaatinen3D/status/1769146850836206026

Articulated autonomous light Easter combat bot with a mix of snap-in and print-in-place joints.

Printing tips: No supports should be needed for any parts, but you might want to use brims for the legs and rockets. Print 4 Joint Pins and 2 Eye Rockets.

There are 3 variations of Top Shell available:

  • Top Shell — The default with bunny face and ear and arm holes.
  • Top Shell No Face or Ears — A variation with no face or ear holes. If you want an egg with guns.
  • Top Shell Plain — A variation with no face or ear and arm holes. Perfect if you just want an egg with legs. :D

Meet 3GG-8UNNY, the egg with legs and rocket-launcher bunny ears, and big cannons for arms — a creation that left engineers scratching their heads and wondering if they accidentally mixed up their blueprints with an Easter-themed sci-fi flick.

But behind this peculiar design lies a tale of bureaucratic miscommunication and a dash of misplaced humor. You see, once upon a time, in a government lab far, far away, there was a group of brilliant but slightly eccentric scientists tasked with designing the next generation of autonomous combat bots. Among them was Dr. Eggbert, renowned for his unorthodox approach to robotics and his undying love for bunnies.

It all started when Dr. Eggbert submitted his proposal for the ultimate combat bot. However, due to a typo in the requisition form, his design specifications got scrambled with those of the lab's Easter egg decoration project. And thus, 3GG-8UNNY was conceived — a fusion of eggcellent engineering and a hare-brained sense of humor.

The first prototype rolled off the assembly line, much to the confusion of everyone involved. Picture a giant egg with legs, adorned with rocket launchers cleverly disguised as bunny ears, and arms equipped with cannons big enough to make even the most seasoned soldier pause and ask, "What in the world?"

But Dr. Eggbert, ever the optimist, saw potential in his creation. He argued that the element of surprise could be 3GG-8UNNY's greatest asset. After all, who would expect to be ambushed by an egg with a penchant for puns and a knack for blowing things up?

Despite initial skepticism, 3GG-8UNNY soon proved its worth on the battlefield. Enemies were left bewildered as they faced off against the most unlikely of adversaries — a bouncing, rocket-launching egg with a deadpan sense of humor. And thus, a legend was born.

As for Dr. Eggbert, he proudly claimed that he had cracked the code to combat robotics — one egg at a time. And though his colleagues may never fully understand his vision, they couldn't deny the undeniable fact that 3GG-8UNNY was, without a doubt, eggstraordinary.
