An Aussie tradesman (metal Fabricator) that suddenly went into kidney failure and now uses 3D modeling and printing as a solace from daily medical treatments to stay alive. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my profile and designs. By supporting my work you also support my constant medical battles and ability to try and live a normal life (As normal as I possibly can). Plus, did I mention that I just absolutely love 3d printing? It is such a positive creative outlet!

G'day, To continue to keep designing multipart models for you all to enjoy no matter what type of 3D printer you have I have needed to set up a membership plan... I know it sucks but I recently found some people illegally selling my models online and that really made me rethink how I upload my designs to the world. Anyways, by joining this membership plan I will commit to uploading monthly if not fortnightly designs for you to enjoy either printing as one piece or assemble all the multipart pieces into a master piece... I personally much rather the 2nd option. If you ever have any ideas for designs or feedback I am always keen to listen : ) P.s. I you haven't read my bio, I am currently in Kidney Failure and on Dialysis, its a condition I was born with but only found out about it as an adult.... Anyway, long story short and without pulling on your heart strings too much, by signing up to my membership are are also helping me in my battle to stay alive until I get a kidney transplant. Cheers, Kyle Byers (Gumnut Forge)

I made this custom Lightsaber axe for my 2024 Adelaide Comic Con outfit as an Ancient Sith Lord. Shown in the pictures is the 150mmX16mm LED strips (from AliExpress) I used to make the Saber Axe glow, I found that using normal red PLA was better than translucent. The Lightsaber Axe is designed so that the LED strip leads run through the axe head and down the handle where you will mount the controllers and battery packs etc. This is designed to be used with a 25mm shaft with you machining or cutting the top of the shaft to fit the axe head on one end of it. (I used wood and painted it black).

I am happy to answer any questions : )
