Ceiling mount for the OPTOMA UHD50 Projector.
Projector bolt positions are taken from the mounting section of the owner's manual and line up perfectly on mine.
I printed the top and bottom pieces out of PLA at 50% infill, the gimble piece in the center was printed in PETG at 50% infill. The spacers/washers were out of TPU and at 100% infill.
The holes connecting the three pieces are for 1/2" bolts, the ones for the projector are for M4 screws and the ones for the ceiling are 0.2" because that's the size wood-screw I had on hand.
My projector is 15 lbs, and I was able to hold 30 lbs without noticeable deformation however keep in mind your experience may vary depending on layer adhesion, temperature, and other unforeseen factors. I have a safety cable bolted to a stud in my ceiling as a safety precaution.
