7/2/23 update:

prototype #2, for an exhaust cap that doesn't shoot up your sleeve or in your face every time you fire a staple. 


I got tired of getting blasted in the face, or in the ear, or up my sleeve every time I fired a staple so hopefully this will address that.

Just testing some sleeves for an office chair as the hydraulic lift is slipping

So I mainly did this for gits and shiggles, however it's working surprisingly well.
4 months in and still going strong.

needed grips for some bar clamps at work, also needed another excuse to play with tpu and tinkercad. this is the result.

Started with the grip from this project since I had already started making one for home when I got the idea to fix the others at the same time.
more infill for strength. less for more squish. 100 seems to be a pretty close match for the stock grips.

These work great with tpu, but I also did them in pla and then lined the face with tpu raft adhered with stay-put for more strength without giving up some stickiness  and scratch proofing.

Remix of Sauder sliding rail support block suitable as a replacement for 1 inch Blume hardware. 

Printable as wood-pla for matching stain/paint. Just something I wanted to try since I work in a cabinet shop and the default hardware is big, ugly, and white.

Down and dirty wall mount for my ugreen usb kvm switch. 
Got tired of it slipping off the back of my desk and I don't want the wires in the way. 


It was a really tight fit due to the screw heads, added 1mm to depth. -- 9/13/19

needed something to mount cheap dollar store fridge thermometers. 

one will hold it in place, attach to wall with a brad or glue or whatever.

for 2, mount the bottom tight and offset the top - up a bit  and just barely snug so it can slip on the channel, friction will keep it all together.

You can fit an extra drive, or multiple SSDs in the slot used for the DVD optical disk on most Thinkcentres. But the cover leaves you with an ugly opening. 
This fills it in.

3 versions:
inset - little cavity for putting stuff (sticker/bezel)
flush - mostly flat
logo - my machines name
+1 blank filler.

To add your own logo, take whichever you choose and just add like a 12mm high text hole in something like tinkercad. 

Combine this with whatever 5.25 to 3.5 (or 2.5) drive caddy you choose and enjoy the extra storage.

I liked the parts tray this is based on, but I needed it to be a little different. So I recreated the box and drawers in tinkercad with a stronger shell and deeper drawers. 

large version uses 3 big drawers, small (same size as the 5 drawer versions) uses 1 small and 2 bigger drawers.  

I'm only using 1 and 2 chamber drawers as 4 would be awkward to pull screws out of, but if you need those the original project drawers should work if you change the height to 31x78mm, or 14x78mm for the small version(they almost fit in my case unaltered). 

Flip case over onto the bottom, not sure why but cura imports it upside down. 

5/15/20 - Added a 6 drawer version. 
3/20/21 - Replaced overwritten 6 drawer version.

Dollarama had these kits for $4, so I'm going to add them to my cabinet. 
This piece should give me a place to store the remote. 

May be very tight fit.

Works great, but if you jam the remote in there tight it is hard to remove, good but also possibly bad.

Sanding the inside or bumping up the print size by a percent or two is advised.

Just reworked this to fit my enclosure. 
Chopped 13mm out of the middle so it will fit 2 5/8 shelves.
Should be good for around 32-40mm thickness.

Needed new stoppers in bathroom, tweaked this one for flexible tpu with Tinkercad for my drains.

Sink was a little tight, could probably go down to 37:37:19 but it's a good solid seal so I'm happy.

Just whipped this up, more rigid option to bed springs.

Printed with 15% infill, lines, touching. 

Should be fine, I have some tpu washers pushing up to the underside of the bed and 100C isn't close enough for the tpu to distort and these are far more dense. 

A suppose you could use other materials like nylon  with less infill.

If you print this as a mold you can use it to make your own silicone spacers.

Just an idea I'm playing with for building cabinet door frames from 1/8 inch material, the center piece could either be solid (say plexiglass or another material) or more strips.

Still messing with this, will add holes for fasteners and possible hinges later.
1/6/20 - first revision with built in pivot hinges, still printing. more to come.
