Unfortunately, we have not had much luck with our orchids in the past.
When you buy them at our place, they come in the transparent pots but also immediately in a ceramic cachepot.
As amateur, you take it as it is, but after the near 100% failure rate, I went to the matter.
Since I am not a botanist as I said, I can only reflect what I have read and for experience reports it is still too early. But it is clear that the roots of the plant need light and oxygen to a high extent and the plant should not stand in water but the roots should be moistened. (short version :-) )
Since I basically like the voroni designs I went in that direction, but I didn't want one of those standard designs created using online tools where simply the whole body is perforated.
So I did the work and made the whole thing in Fusion 360 using embossing.
The pot has a lower diameter of 100 mm, the upper is 120 mm with a height of 105 mm. There will be also other dimensions if the disgn gets intrest (it is quite a bit of work).
I printet mine in PLA without support.
I used fuzzy skin for the surface, no post processing.
