I designed this for when I'm working with items that generate a lot of friction, make more vibrations and require more torque and higher speeds. The cleated plate mounts facing up and digs into the underside of the surface - needless to say it was designed for wooden benchtops / tabletops. It is best to print with rigid filament like PLA+, CF-PLA etc. Dry your filament good and print at 50% triangular infill and it will be very strong.
Don't go nuts when tightening the knob - as soon as it snugs up it should be good enough. I used this for several hours while testing it, and it didn't budge a millimeter.
Dry your filament, eat your vegetables, don’t do drugs.
