Baby proofing latch and lock for drawers and closets, easy to print baby-safe system

A set of easy to print latch and lock to baby-proof drawers, closets, cabinets, etc. by making them harder to open for babies (but not adults).

The pieces are easy to install using wood-screws of 3 to 4mm diameter (and approximately 15mm length, depending on the thickness of the wood used in your furnitures).

There are several latch lengths. I recommend starting with the default one and replacing them with the shorter ones if needed (usually for some types of drawers). The pieces are designed so that you can try different lengths using the same screw holes you already made.

The lock piece can be mounted in different ways (on the side, above, etc.) depending on the geometry of the piece of furniture.

These pieces are easy to print without support as they have limited overhang and bridges. Recommended layer height is 0.25mm as it will give 3 layers everywhere on the top of the latch. PLA gives good mechanical results.
