Invisible Candle.stl

In the dusty corner of an old antique shop, nestled amidst forgotten trinkets and faded memories, there sat an invisible and magical candlestick. Its existence was known to only a few, whispered about in hushed tones among collectors and curious souls. This enigmatic candlestick appeared as a mere silhouette, blending seamlessly with the shadows of the shop. But the true wonder lay in the flame once lit . I watched in awe as the flame danced and the now visible wax melted away. Though the candlestick itself remained hidden from view, its magical aura filled the room with an enchanting ambiance. The invisible candle does need supports while printing. I recommend using 4 walls, for extra rigidity. That also helps when printing in a glow in the dark filament, the extra wall thickness makes it brighter in the dark. Fits most standard electronic tea lights. This print needs supports.

I support from the inside of the candle out to the drips. I have noticed that whenever I use polymaker glow in the dark, I have a problem with the longer drip it always wants to crack off. But in normal white pla I have not had a problem. You might consider lowering your millimeters per second speed a little bit. I printed like I'm using silk filament speeds if that helps. You could also add z-hops if you don't have them selected.

Thank you - was using overture glow in the dark PLA, slicing in Cura with adaptive layer height and using >60% tree supports. Will slow it down a bit, too. I was all excited until ~10 layers in to the first longer drip :D

Cheers!

Hello! Could you please share your suggested support settings and print orientation? I've tried a few times with no luck. Cheers!
