If you do papercrafting, you probably have a pile of those 1-inch Ink Pads that need organizing in Gridfinity. This spinner keeps all of your ink pads at your fingertips while only taking a 3x3 grid space!

The model is constructed of 4 parts: The Baseplate (which fits into a 3x3 Gridfinity baseplate), the Floor (holds a 608 bearing), any number of Spinner layers, and topped off with the Roof.

The spinners have an integrated ramp inside the pocket that is intended to capture the lip of the Ink Pad, so it doesn't fly out when you spin the tower.  This does make it a bit hard to remove the Ink Pad - you have to lever the back edge up a bit to get it free.  Once you do it a few times you'll get the hang of it. 
 You can probably reduce the height of the ramp a little.  The Fusion 360 file is included.

To keep the layers together I included some tabs inside the center hole.  I used small rubber bands to connect each layer to the one above it.  That holds the layers together but does allow for a little give to make it easier to get the Ink Pads out.  You could glue the layers but then you can't add or remove more.

I printed mine in a different color for each layer, to justify my new Kobra 3 Multimaterial printer, but you could certainly print it in all one color.  You can't see the Ink Pad lids, so we labelled the edges with a small sticker inked with the color of the pad.  This makes it easier to see what color is in each pad.

Gridfinity Storage Block for a cheap Ratchet set.  I bought this ratchet from Amazon to use for changing nozzles and such.

This block holds all of the sockets, the handle, and the extension.  You could easy adapt it for a different ratchet set if the handle is a different size.

I included one STL with the block and text, and a pair with the block and text separate for multi-material printing.

Gridfinity block for a Wera metric allen wrench set.  Nothing fancy, just a 1x5 block that stands all 9 wrenches in a row.  

I included one STL with the block and numbers for single-color printing, and a pair of STLS (Box and Numbers) that you can import as a single model for multi-material printing.

This model is an insert for a 1x3 Gridfinity bin that can hold any kind of small item for ready access.  Printed from a flexible filament, the slots can confirm to allow you to store the tools you are currently using rather than cluttering your workspace.

This model was designed for a 42mm deep bin.  The model has an inset around the rim that mates with the ridge of the empty bin, to help keep it in place.

You can modify the model to print a holder of any depth.  I found that the depth of the insert needs to be just slightly shorter than the depth of the bin, or pushing the tools in can pull the insert out of place.  

I also find that a taller bin works better because the the tools are top-heavy and will cause the bin to fall over.  If your bins use magnets or are screwed into the baseplate, then you can probably use a shorter bin.

These bins hold Refills for Copic Markers.  

There are two designs - one has the refills angled (to keep the overall height shorter) and the other is vertical.

I included the STLs for a 2x3 grid Vertical bin, and a 2x4 grid Angled bin.  Both have 4x6 holes to hold 24 refils.

I have also included the Fusion 360 files for each model so you can make bins of different sizes.

If you use Blender Brushes for papercrafting, you probably have a number of them in different sizes.  We have Simon Says Stamp brushes, which all have the same size handle. This Gridfinity block holds the brushes in easy reach, with the heads separated so they don't touch.  

We've included three different STL files.  All three are 2x2 Gridfinity units, but with different numbers of pockets:
- 3x3 rectangular layout.  Wide enough spacing for the largest brush sizes.
- 4x4 rectangular layout.  The densest layout, but really only suitable for the small and medium brushes.
- 5 pocket in a circular layout.  Keeps the heads facing away from each other around the circle.

We've also included the Fusion 360 file if you want to adjust anything.  The pocket sizes and spacings are parameterized.

We have a Glowforge, and there are several tools and accessories that have to be used regularly for cleaning and maintenance.  Sounds like a perfect use case for Gridfinity!

I created bins to hold these accessories:
- Zeiss Lens Wipes
- Lens removal tool
- Air Duster
- Rectangular and Round Magnets to hold down material
- Scrapers for applying mask to non-Proofgrade material
- Scissors for cutting mask

I also created a plate to go around the Magic Button to hold it all in place.  I just combined the plate with the 4x4 grid in Cura before printing, but you could also print them separately and glue them.

I did a filament change on the plate and the bins to get the text in a second color.

These bins hold Copic Markers ready to use.  These things are expensive - don't let them get lost!

The 1x2 bin holds 10 markers, the 2x2 bin holds 25 markers, and the 2x4 bin holds 50 markers.

I included the Fusion 360 files for each model.  You could make bins of any size, but you'd have to tweak the pattern to get the best fit of the slots.

Gridfinity is great, especially for items that you leave out for easy access.  But what about items that you need to put away, or carry to a work area?  

What you need is a set of Gridfinity Storage and Carrying trays.  This project is a parameterized Fusion 360 design.

**Features**
-Parameterized dimensions.
-Configurable number of cells wide and long.
-Ability to include or exclude the grid rims.
-Ability to include the Magnet pockets, or have a flat bottom, or (innovation!) alignment bumps that fit into the holes on the underside of Gridfinity bins.
-Configurable outer wall height and floor thickness.
-Configurable margin between the cell and outer wall.
-Configurable Chamfers to allow stacking the trays.

**Alignment Bumps / Magnet Pockets**
-For a Flat grid cell floor, set AlignmentBumpHeight to 0.  Then the AlignmentBumpDiameter doesn't matter, although you can't set it to zero.
-For a Magnet Pocket, use a negative value for AlignmentBumpHeight (-2mm works for the standard 6x2mm magnets).  AlignmentBumpDiameter should be around 6.25mm.  Also, make sure your FloorThickness is larger than the AlignmentBumpHeight.
-For raised Alignment Bumps, use a positive value.  1mm to 2mm works.  I find that an AlignmentBumpDiameter of 5.5mm to 5.75mm seems to work best.  Test to see how your bins fit, in case your printer prints them a little oversized.

**Stacking Chamfer**
-This parameter causes a chamfer to be cut under the outer rim of the bottom of the tray, and raised on the outside rim of the top of the tray.  This allows trays to stack with a little bit of stability.  It's not like the interlocking of Gridfinity bins, but it's enough to keep them from falling all over the place.
-You cannot set this parameter to zero.  The minimum is 0.1mm, otherwise the sweeps and extrudes break.  I find that 1mm works ok, but a larger value might be a little better.

**Outer Walls**
-The measurement of WallHeight is from the bottom edge of the tray.
-Setting a small WallHeight, WallThickness, and WallMargin would essentially create a baseplate.
-The WallMargin pushes the walls out from the outside edge of the grids.  This could be useful if your bins do not have straight sides, or are somehow oversized.  This setting cannot be 0 (again, that breaks the sweep), but a minimum of 0.1mm works fine.

Don't want sawdust filling your open-top Gridfinity window bins?  Tired of screws and nuts spilling everywhere because you accidentally tipped over a bin?  Wouldn't it be great if the bins could have easily removable lids?

I started by remixing MaybeItsLesotho 's version

that has a slot for the mircroscope slide (no tape required!), then made a few custom modifications.

1. Created a lid for each size compartment.  Each lid has one or more magnets to hold it in place.
2. Added a slight overhang to the back of the bin to capture the lid.  Each id has a chamfer to slip under this overhang.
3. Added magnet pockets to the front plate that mate with the magnets in the lids.
4. Added small bumps to the back of the bin and the front plate, to help hold the lids in place side-to-side.

The design uses the same 6mm x 2mm magnets that are used to hold the bins in the grids.

Edit: By request, I've added the Fusion 360 files.  I didn't have access to the original Fusion 360 files, so I imported the STL, deleted some faces to clean them up, and then made my modifications.  They are not fancy parameterized files, so there is one file per model.  Maybe someday I'll rework them to combine with parameters.  In the meantime, I hope they are helpful!
