With this hinge you will be able to open your printer door fully by 180° or even 270°. This is update, so please check updated 3mf file or stl for individual parts.
Version 2 update includes some updates users asked about:
- Hinge stopper to prevent it from folding inside. (those stoppers can be clicked also to V1 hinge, so if you already have v1 hinge, print out only those two stoppers)
- Longer main screw (easier to hold and tighten)
- Use of screws from Makers Supply (for both hinge parts)
- Removed KK letters - As I now understood, most users don't like logos :)
Hinge is attached to original Bambu hinge metal part, so you don't need to disassemble anything, just remove 4 original screws with rubber gaskets from glass doors. Assembly will take no more than 5 minutes, and if you don't like it, you can turn back to original in no time.
I tested this hinge with PLA, PETG and PETG-CF. With 3 walls and 15% infill all the fillaments are tough enough for those parts.
For PLA you can use default bambu profile (and turn on fast mode) and it will print nicely. For PETG and PETG-CF use your own settings or use my attached profile.
Additionally to printed parts you need 2 types of screws: For updated new V2 version - get them from Makers Supply store: M3x6mm Button Head Cap Machine Screws (BHCS) AA057 M2.5x10mm Flat Head Cap Machine Screws (FHCS) AA184
Or from your own screw box: 4x SSD drive screws M3 x 5mm 4x Wooden screws 5mm head x 10mm length (Screw head must be smaller than hole in glass door, so metal doesn't touch glass) Wooden screws: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Drenky-Countersunk-Stainless-Self-Tapping-Universal/dp/B0B9X2Z973/ SSD drive screws: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/product/B0C61T8CL7
It's easy to assemble it without any documentation, just look for TOP and BOT writing on parts. Or use attached assembly guide.
Use hand screwdriver not electric one to feel the tightening force.
