This STL is a combination of the top and bottom halves of the original model.   I found it difficult to get the top and bottom perfectly aligned when printed in four parts.  This is simply printed in two parts (print same part twice) and glued together. The wand ends up being 388.8 mm long which did not fit on my Taz 6 bed.  I cheated by indicating the print bed was 285mm x 285mm in Cura.  Then I printed with the wand corner to corner.   The print was without any skirt/brim and 100% infill using ColorFabb woodfill.

I recently saw a fireplace phone stand and it got me to thinking about doing something similar with a charger in place.  Long ago wanted to create my own animated beer sign since I have several older "bubbler" style signs.   This seemed like the perfect fit.  Animated beer sign, phone stand and charger in one! 

I included the Fushion 360 models in case someone would like to modify them.  I printed the large stand first in brown PLA, then the "mug" in natural PLA and finally the front logo in blue PLA, switching to white PLA once the lettering appeared.  

I printed with no supports and I probably got lucky with the bridging. I tried with supports and cleanup was difficult and looked bad.

Beer Sign Phone Stand/Charger

This is my attempt at creating the Star Trek Picard Season Two badge (seen close up in episode 8 around 17:35 or so)  The badge is printed with 50% infill and no support.  The pin with cross pieces is printed at 100% infill and does need support.  I uploaded the files as 3mf and stls.

The pin with cross pieces would be painted separately in gold while the badge would be chrome. (I think)

After looking at the screen model mine is too thick.  I will test with scaling to 50% to see if that matches better.

This is a version of K's gun stand as one piece.  I had trouble getting the print to work with the tight tolerances so I opted to combine the two parts into one model.  You will still need to get the barrel rest from the original model by danielgeez.  

Added another version with a thick base.  

The length is almost 270mm which is the max I could print with my Taz 6.  Be sure your print bed is wide enough.

These are clip-on labels for the front of wire cubes.  They clip onto the wires and provide a location to add a label.

This is basically a remix of my other charger stand. My sister-in-law wanted a stand like the other one but the Samsung pad was too big so I modified the dimensions to accommodate the larger charging pad. She couldn't decide on a color and hinted that watermelon might be neat so I went with that.  

This was printed with no support. I used Matterhacker's Lime Green Build PLA, Matterhacker's White Build PLA, Matterhacker's Magenta Build PLA.

Also included a version that has more rounded off edges and slightly tighter opening for the charger pad.  


Samsung Wireless Charger Stand

My wife needed a phone stand for a charger she purchased (Insignia Quick Charger) so I felt none of the available entries on Thingiverse fit the bill so I made one.  Works with Insignia phone charging pad (about 95mm diameter) Tested with Samsung S8+ and S10 models. I left the opening for the charger a tiny bit larger so the charging pad could easily be removed.  I used tiny bits of poster putty to adhere the pad to the back of the stand but it isn't necessary. Printed with no support.

Rotate the stand (from the default model position) 90 degrees on the X axis so the base is lying on the bottom of the bed.

I needed a plug cover for my truck (4 flat trailer plug) and couldn't find any that fit the bill.  I cobbled together this version (using Fusion 360) which slides over the plug to protect it.   The part was printed in black TPU. 

I included the Fusion 360 file in case someone wants to modify it.

I wanted a custom bookmark for a book I've been reading so I created this one.  The far right "E" and "R" have very narrow lines at the top and might benefit from scaling it a bit longer.

This is a slightly redesigned flap that I printed which is 100% infill with no supports.  I did a filament swap when the lettering starts.  This version should fit without removing anything.

A remix requested by a friend to make a Deathly Hallows version for their desk.   

I modified the month ring to use English names rather than a number.

The rings were printed by changing the filament once the lettering began and changing again a few levels before the top.



Deathly Hallows Perpetual Calendar

I needed to replace a lens cap for my binoculars.  I lost the small end cap on my Traq 7x35 set and decided to try and model one and print it out.  After some trial and error I got the larger cap made.  Both now available.

I used black TPU for flexibility.

I modified the two piece rocket into one item.  I resized it in the slicer to 20% (which ends up about 239 mm) tall.  The base I made with Fusion 360 as a simple platform with an open area in the middle to put the electronics for lighting.

My wife broke a nail file handle and asked if I could create a new one.  I made the design in Fusion 360.  I originally printed it horizontally however this tended to split down the center.  I printed vertically and that worked much better.  Result is the picture shown.
