This is my submission for the Prusa Print Tables Contest. They are corner connectors and matching feet for making tables using 1" aluminum extrusion that can be Printed without supports. I chose to make a side table for my tea cup, but my wife has requested a coffee table as well, so I have that in the works, but the beauty is that all I really need to do is make different length aluminum members and the printed parts stay the same.

This a redesign of a connector I previously designed for building an enclosure. I made it so the downward leg socket is canted at a 3 degree angle for a bit more stability. I also moved the bracing to the outside of the piece to make it easier to fasten the table top to. By printing in the indicated orientation, the layer lines don't line up with the extrusion end the the strength in all three directions is equal.

I made this for a 1" aluminum extrusion, but when I redesigned, I parameterized it so if you have a different size more readily available to you let me know and I can generate a different set or even different leg angle.

I have printed it in PLA (the mint green) and PETG (the black) both have worked well. The green version was printed on an M2 with a 0.8mm nozzle so it only takes an hour, but it definitely shows its layer lines. Because it is printed without supports, cooling is of great importance. I would orient it so that downward leg is pointed toward your fan as it is the most challenging overhang.

Enjoy
