This 1x1 baseplate has a cover held on by eight magnets. A 1x1 module up to 4U high is held to the baseplate. If you have a 4U module you can put things in this that are up to 63mm above the top of the module. That means things could be up to 13U tall +2mm (93mm).

Two slots on the inside allow you to pull out a module if it gets stuck, but slides nicely on standard modules and these slots won't be needed.

The magnets in the cover are very close to the inside edge. You might need to use a sharp knife to cut away any excess filament next to the magnets so the inside edges are smooth and straight.

There is a ridge that prevents a module from sliding too far into the cover. The inside of the cover tapers slightly, so if a module slid into that zone it might get stuck. The ridge prevents that from ever happening. The slight taper makes it look deeper inside than it looks outside.

I used the fuzzy skin option in the slicer for a better look.

Both the cover and the module were printed in Gold/Blue/Fuchsia coextruded filament using my spool rotator: https://www.printables.com/model/523118-spool-rotator

The baseplate was printed in Locyfens sparkle rainbow PLA.

You'll need 12 of the 6x2mm neodymium magnets. It's a baseplate so all the magnets should be aligned the same way as any baseplate. So the magnets in the cover are opposite and oriented like a bin.
