Concrete candle holder “Gugelhupf”

A beautiful concrete candle holder – easily produced at home Candle diameter: 16 mm - 26 mm

What you need

• TPU filament
• Hobby grade pouring concrete
• Water
• Optional: Acrylic colors
• Optional: Vaseline or kitchen oil

Instructions (also check images)

1. Print the mold in TPU – I you have not yet printed this material, check YouTube for instructions. It’s quite easy even with a beginner machine like a Ender 3V2
2. Mix the concrete according to the instructions of the manufacturer
3. Optional: Add acrylic colors to the mix
4. Optional: rub the inside of the mold with Vaseline or kitchen oil for easier separation later
5. Pour the mix into the mold
6. Optional: Bumb the filled mold lightly on your table to get rid of air bubbles
7. Wait until the mix dried. Note that the acrylic color might add to the time it takes to fully dry.
8. Remove the cast by inverting the mold and pulling it out
9. Optional: Paint the cake
10. Have fun!
