What you need
- TPU filament
- Hobby grade pouring concrete
- Water
- Optional: Acrylic colors
- Optional: Vaseline or kitchen oil
Instructions (also check images)
- Print the mold in TPU – I you have not yet printed this material, check YouTube for instructions. It’s quite easy even with a beginner machine like a Ender 3V2
- Mix the concrete according to the instructions of the manufacturer
- Optional: Add acrylic colors to the mix
- Optional: rub the inside of the mold with Vaseline or kitchen oil for easier separation later
- Pour the mix into the mold
- Optional: Bumb the filled mold lightly on your table to get rid of air bubbles
- Wait until the mix dried. Note that the acrylic color might add to the time it takes to fully dry.
- Remove the cast by inverting the mold and pulling it out
- Optional: Paint the cake
- Have fun!
