Do you want to customize your own Judge Dredd Badge with your name or any text you want? Then you will love the Judge Dredd Customizable Badge, a 3D printable model that lets you create your own unique badge.
This badge is based on the one seen in the 2012 movie starring Karl Urban. It features a stylized eagle on top and a blank space for your text. It is designed with high detail and accuracy, using SketchUp and other tools.
The Judge Dredd Customizable Badge is a 3D printable model that you can download and print with any 3D printer and filament. It is easy to print and use, and you can print it in any color you like. You can also print it in different sizes and use it as a decoration, a magnet, a keychain, or anything else you can think of.
You have a detailed document of how to customize it when you download the model or you can just follow the instructions bellow.
To customize your badge, you need to import the plain STL file to any software that allows you to add text with custom font, such as Blender, TinkerCAD, Meshmixer, SketchUp, etc. You also need to use the provided font called Quadrangle. Then you need to follow these steps:
- Add text with the name that you want using the provided font.
- Make it 18mm tall.
- Rotate 11.2 degrees to fit the badge space direction and center horizontally. (In my case I leave 10.8075mm on top and bottom of text).
- Scale horizontally the text to fit the space provided (you can make it bigger or smaller depending on the length).
- Extrude the text 3mm to have same height of the base.
- Group everything together, export and print!
