RatRig V-Core 3.1 5015 Bed Fan Mounts for Chamber Heating

This is a bracket to mount 5015 fans to a V-Core 3.1's bed (or any bed with 5mm holes), which significantly improves max chamber temp and chamber heating speed. I'm able to get to 40C in about 10 minutes, and maxes out around 60C - your mileage may vary, this is very dependent on how sealed and insulated your printer is!

I used a spare bed spacer (~5.75mm aluminum spacer) that RatRig uses for their bed arms. If you don't have any, I included a bed spacer model you can print.

I used some super glue to get a good seal on the top and bottom pieces, but it isn't required.

Printer requirements

  • Only use this if your printer is enclosed
  • You need to seal and insulate your printer for best results

Print requirements

  • ASA/ABS or more heat resistant material! You don't want these melting

Hardware Required

  • 5015 fan (x2)
  • M3x3 (short) heat insert (x2)
  • M5x9 heat insert
  • M3x20 screw (x2)
  • M5x25 screw

Happy printing!
