Welcome to Day 14 of 24 Days of Christmas!
From December 1st to December 24th, I will be uploading 1 Christmas-themed model a day to spread the holiday cheer throughout the entire month in an advent-calendar style release schedule. Check out the rest of the models here.Day 14 For the fourteenth day in this series, I designed a minimalist Nutcracker with articulating arms! Generally nutcrackers are very detailed and colorful, and I wanted to experiment with an alternate interpretation that is simple and elegant. The idea was for the final result to look almost like it was carved out of wood.
This fun Christmas design does not require any supports, and parts are already positioned in the optimal orientation. To assemble, push the snap fit joint of the arms into the sockets. Glue the nose onto the front of the face, and glue the body onto the legs.
Once assembled, the arms can be swung freely.
Want to support me as I attempt this fun Christmas challenge? Like, download, and collect this model! Also, be sure to follow me to be notified as I release free, high quality designs like this every day until December 24th.
