**Brick by Brick, Holiday Cheer!**

The Holiday season is getting longer every year, so it is beyond time to start decorating your home with festive 3D Prints! What better way to show off your Nerd-cred & decorate than a life size interlocking brick Christmas Wreath! Ok that name isn't catchy, how about “LEt'GO Holiday Wreath”, is that better? Yea, that is a better way to describe this Xmas decorating device. 

A friend requested me to print them one of these, and I wanted to tweak the designs I found online, so I started over from scratch. Some measurements were pulled from one design so I'm call this a “Remix” of the design on [Printables by Fuganater](https://www.printables.com/model/58424-giant-lego-wreath-no-supports-needed). 

Design has “Leaves” that interlock into each other to form the Wreath, and “Studs” that can be printed in whatever color you like to decorate it. All of these parts press fit onto each other tightly enough to not come apart accidentally but still be able to be disassembled easily. 

Assembled Wreath is approximately 10" (254mm) across. A larger version is coming soon. (Scaling can cause tolerance issues but you are welcome to do so as you see fit.)

**NOTE:** Proper tuning & extrusion accuracy is a requirement to produce a good fit. A Test print file is included to ensure you have good results before you start printing the full design. Print the Test Part & one of the “Studs” to check your fitment before diving into the full print!!

**NOTE:** This was designed with these exact print paremeters in mind. Using other layer heights may cause fitment issues, change at your own risk.

_Print-in-Place Version_

This is the twelfth version in a series gift boxes that may all look the same on the outside but they each have a secret way of opening. To open this one, turn the bow 90 degrees. Turning this rotates gears underneath which unlatch the top. A torsion spring keeping the lid from unlocking accidently.

Its roughly 100mm x 100m x 80mm tall. The top prints in place as one part, none of the parts require supports, designed for a .4mm nozzle. The bow and ribbons are printed separately and glued on. I printed all the parts in the orientation the stl’s are provided in. I prefer the vertical orientation for the ribbons for a smoother surface finish.  I added helper pads to them to keep them stable during printing. I printed everything at .2 layer heights but the box could definitely be printed at a larger layer height without issue.

**Bigger Bricks, Bigger Fun for the Holidays!**

Recently I released my [“LEt'GO Holiday Wreath”](https://than.gs/m/964428) design of modular interlocking block Christmas decorations. Folks wanted to see it bigger, so here we go! This is a 200% scale version of the LEt'GO Wreath, but with proper fitment adjustments made. Just scaling the parts will cause the tolerances to scale up too, this design has corrected for that. These parts should print & fit together just like the smaller design, but at a way bigger size!

This classic holiday 3D model can be used as a large ornament for your Christmas tree or as a tabletop decoration. The charming glowing Christmas tree in the town square is surrounded by shops. This updated design prints better and has an improved tealight compartment with screw on cap (print separately). Holds tealights up to 40mm in diameter.

Built-in scaffolding supports are to be removed.

These are the files for my Candy Cane Christmas Tree,

Version 1 - this one has a Larger Gap between the 2 sections. meaning that it can be printed with Larger Layer Hights, and when printed at 0.2mm Layer Heights can be dropped together

Version 2 - this one is if you are looking for a Tighter Fit, I have successfully Printed this at 70% Scale with 0.2mm Layer heights and the 2 parts can still be nicely pushed together.

Both Versions can be printed with Zero Infill and with No Supports

Candy Cane Christmas Tree

Here is the model for my Christmas Cottage.

a fun little cottage for your Christmas decorations.

the inside is hollowed out and the windows cut out, there are some holes on the side and hooks around the walls to allow some micro LED Christmas lights to be added

I printed mine with organic supports in a Glitter White filament to give the look of the frost covered building this then gives a nice surface for the lights to play on

I added a slip of paper to the inside of the model to defuse any internal led light so you don't just see the led.
