Introducing the Halloween Display Signs! Or directional signs, whatever works. This has been a pretty popular outdoor decoration for a few years now, so I wanted to make a version I could bring inside.

This design doesn't require any sort of AMS or MMS. The signs can easily be done with a filament swap at layer 21 (when printing at 0.2mm layer height), and all of the other pieces can be printed separately and then assembled.

The sign posts feature indents for three signs per post, and both the signs and the posts have slots for 6x3mm magnets, making this incredibly easy to change and move signs. Starting with six popular locations - Crystal Lake, Elm Street, Transylvania, Amity Island, Haddonfield and Sleepy Hollow - I'll be releasing more in the near future, I'm open to any requests you have!

The pumpkins, pumpkin stems and grass all sit/slide/snap into place. I'd recommend using glue for the pumpkin stems, but the grass and pumpkins themselves sit nicely in the base and don't need to be glued. You could also glue the signs instead of using magnets, but that kind of defeats the purpose of changeability.

The "wood" post has some negative space on the first few layers and can be a bit tricky to print, so I included the solid post to be safe.

Print Settings: Everything was printed with 0.2mm layer heights. I did try adaptive layer heights on the base for one print, but I didn't like how it came out. The clearances should be pretty good on everything, I made this with my Ender friends in mind. Infill doesn't need to be high, I used 10% gyroid across the board (except the base itself, see the note below).

NOTE: Obviously the base needs to be a bit heavier so everything doesn't just topple over, but no one wants to waste a bunch of filament. There's a ton of tricks out there for weighing down prints, but personally, a technique I use often is to print things with 5-10% Lightning infill and then when it's done printing, I drill a 1/4" hole in the bottom and fill it with sand, then seal the hole with hot glue. Word of advice though, don't drill through the sides where the layer lines can easily split and crack down the entire print.
