Locking Twist Capsule
This design prints in just 2 pieces with no supports and has a functioning lock that keeps it securely closed! it also has plenty of storage space on the inside.
Once unlocked, the capsule slides open on its own slowly and satisfactorily. To close it, just allow the top to fall closed and gently twist the cap until the bottom is flush.
3D printing settings Supports: None Infil: 10-15% should be more than fine Perimeters: 2 Nozzle Diameter: 0.4 or 0.6, anything bigger may have an issue with thin walls. Print Orientation: Print both pieces with the open side facing up. The handle on the top side should be on the build plate! Scaling: You should be ok to scale it up, but I would avoid scaling down as it may make the clearances difficult to print. Scaling up HUGE may make the clearances a little loose, but please feel free to let me know!
