Create your own 3D printed planter with this STL file, designed with a unique water level indicator.

It comes in 3 sizes: Small - 61.6-71 mm inside diameter Medium - 75.6-85 mm inside diameter Large - 90.6-100 mm inside diameter

There is both a drip tray and a self watering version with a wicking system. For the self watering with a wicking system. All you need is some kind of string/rope. I use 4 mm nylon paracord.

The self watering planter features a ridge that shows you how much water to pour. This is a design feature, instead of having the small holes at the top, like other self watering planters. You just pick up the inner/top part, and then pour the water.

To make sure the outer part is watertight, you can try some of these settings:

  • Extrusion Multiplier: Around 1.1
  • Layer Parameters: 3-4 top and bottom layers
  • Infill: 100% (I would try and avoid this unless necessary, since you will end up using a lot of filament. Alternatively, you can make just the bottom 100%)
  • Temperature: Increase nozzle temperature or reduce cooling for better layer adhesion

I welcome your feedback and suggestions. Enjoy creating your perfect indoor garden with this stylish and functional planter!
