🦌 Bambi (Fanart) 🌸

🦌 Bambi (Fanart) 🌸

Hello dears! 😃 Let's give a warm welcome to little Bambi! 🦌He's ready to share some of his happy spring vibes with all of you! 🌸Don't you feel a little better already? Want to see some behind the scene? This was the first version of Bambi I made:Cute isn't? Time for a test print :Unfortunately, the print failed because I totally forgot that the paw area is extremely small and as the nozzle kept going higher and higher...well...the legs started moving and falling off the bed and I got a total mess.So guys, NEVER FORGET to check your ADESION. If the print has a too little area stand, DON'T FORGET YOUR BRIM/RAFT!Ok, after learning that (again), I went for a second try. This time I added my beautiful brim to make sure it wouldn't fail, so I started the print again. Guess what now?I forgot to make sure I had enough support for the front paw...🤦🏻‍♀️ I know, I know, I'm pretty hopeless...🤦🏻‍♀️BUT.That's not the only thing I figured out from this print...I still wanted to see if he could stand. And the answer was? NO 🤓Went back and checked the model, and I figured out why it was obvious that he wouldn't stand...even tho the pose was cute, his center of gravity was totally wrong and messed up. After checking back some references, I found out where was my mistake and then after fixing his pose, I finally found his last pose with the correct barycenter:Can you see the difference from the previous version? The thing that was totally wrong and affected the most was the back paw, the right one to be exact, which I moved further forward to make it more balanced. Another thing that affected it was the position of his head. In the previous version, it was turned towards the raised leg, so there was more weight where the piece was least stable.IN CONCLUSIONI tested the new version, remembering all the previous mistakes I had made with my slicing settings and:TADAAAA! WE DID IT! He's finally alive! If you made it this far, first of all, CONGRATULATIONS and THANKS for reading! Sorry for the length, but I thought it would be nice to share these steps with you. Who doesn't remember Bambi, the cuddly little fawn protagonist of one of the most famous children's stories of all time! 🦌

With his large ears and curious eyes, he represents the grace and innocence of wild nature. In spring, when everything awakens from winter hibernation, the figure of Bambi symbolizes rebirth and the freshness of the new season 🌸

Hope you like my little homage to this iconic character!
