This die is designed to be 3D printed with a dual extruder, however just the "core" model can be printed on a single extruder.
This was originally designed as a commission for a local Classical Conversations organization as a tool for tutors to use in the classroom. Each face of the die features a subject that is covered in the class' curriculum. This is a great tool for both those participating in the Classical Conversations program, as well as anyone with young kids who is doing subject reviews at home.
The die is designed at a 75mm outer dimension scale. This makes it large enough that it is easy to use for young kids and also easy to read from the floor while standing. The final products for the initial commission were printed using semi-flexible TPU materials. Using this class of material helps make the dice quite durable and much less hazardous for young kids to be throwing around.
This model is in the .STEP format to show the different bodies with different material colors in order to emphasize the dual extruded sections. The model can be found in .STL format for 3D printing here: https://thangs.com/NoahMillerDesign/Classical-Conversations-Subject-Review-Die--NoahMillerDesign-17974
