Print-in-place Clothes Hanger, foldable
A print-in-place foldable clothes hanger. It can be printed on a standard-sized fdm printer (220 x 200 mm). It folds into a small square – perfect for travel. It comes with a tie bar that also serves at reinforcement. Two indentations allow for the hanging of spaghetti tops. Pants can be placed on the lower bar. It can fit and support a full suit.
Versions included
- Clothes_hanger: the default version
- Clothes_hanger_more_clearance: a version with double the clearance at the big hinge. 0.4 mm on both sides and 0.8 mm on top
Disclaimer: Be aware that the strength of the holder will depend greatly on your material choice, print settings and print quality. I printed it in the default bambulap p1p profile. It holds a full suit well. This is a advanced project. If you are new to 3d printing, please know that this design incorporates multiple details that require a well set up machine.

Make sure that your bridging relevant settings are calibrated well for this design. Those include fan speed, print speed, and print temperature among others. There are many guides for good bridging on Youtube. My personal experience is that the best result is achieved with a quite unspent nozzle.

I just can't seem to get this to print correctly. The smaller hinge joins work perfectly print in place with the basic Creality K1 Orca Slicer PLA profile with the recommended settings but the larger hinges fuse together. When I adjust my settings to try to loosen it up the smaller hinges get too loose and feel like they are going to fall out.
So if it was possible to widen the margins on the large hinge without increasing it on the small ones then I would appreciate it.
I added another version with twice the clearance in that spot. Sorry again!
I will certainly do that! Sorry for the inconvenience!
Do you make a version where the hook is bigger?
Unfortunately not! This design is currently not due for any updates
