Examples include design without support, Vase mode, etc. That's why we created many designs using this. Among the things that are only possible with FDM 3D printing, one that has not been tried yet is the Hairy style design using the Bridge function. This was shown at its best in Hairy lion. However, while the Hairy lion is a great design, I thought it was very wasteful to have the outer surrounding wall thrown away. So, I thought that if I developed this method further, it would be possible to create a design with less filament waste. This time, I came up with an idea to implement it, so I designed it. That's the Hairy gardening christmas tree. The idea is to connect the leaves to the branches with a bridge. Since the branches act as a wall, you can use all the leaves by cutting them without throwing anything away.

When cutting leaves, just roughly cut the middle of the branches. And depending on how you cut it, the tree takes on a variety of shapes. Cutting the leaves can be done before inserting the branches into the trunk, or you can cut the leaves after inserting the branches to complete the tree. However, it is best to cut the leaves connected to the trunk as close as possible so that no leaves remain on the trunk. You can insert the branches freely, but if you insert the long outer branches into the bottom hole of each trunk and the short inner branches into the upper hole of the trunk, it will resemble a cone-shaped Christmas tree. You can copy and print as many ornaments as you want to attach to the branches.

Please check the video for more details. We hope you have a Merry Christmas with this Christmas tree! Merry Christmas~
