Forest Chess Set - Log and Mushroom Chess Board - Acorn Checkers

A Log that unrolls into a chess set? This log is a great decorative piece that doubles as a rolled-up chessboard. Remove both end caps to reveal the unique mushroom-themed chess pieces and wood-colored board. You can even use the end caps as coasters when you're playing your match.

The chess pieces are stored inside the chess board in two sets, colored to match the board.

Board Assembly

• Print all 8 log pieces, the top and bottom in one color
• Print 32 of the squares in another color
• Cut up strings of 1.75mm (standard) filament that are slightly longer than the log and sharpen them on one end with a knife or cutter
• Connect the log pieces with the strings by inserting them with the pointy end
• Cut off the string ends
• Glue in all squares
• Glue in 6 magnets in the holes in log part 1 and 8 - make sure to have them face the right direction (optional but recommended)
• Each log segment is numbered 1 through 8 to allow for easy assembly.
