Elegoo Neptune 4/PRO Shock Absorbing Lifted Foot 3d model

This is a mod for the Elegoo Neptune 4/PRO 3D printer. It raises the printer up and absorbs vibrations to improve print quality. You will need to print four of these and be patient. It will take time as these feet are dual material (PLA/TPU) and required varied speed to print properly. You will need to follow the 3D printing settings as suggested for good quality. Print the model with the foot pointing upward and the part that the printers feet fit in against the print bed. These can also be printed in solid TPU, but it seems to perform better with dual materials. It will also give more breathing room under the printer for the printer's exhaust. You will need to repeat this process four times for each foot for best quality. 3D printing settings

Layer height: 0.2mm Brim: Yes, 8mm to 10mm Supports: yes, organic. Infill: 20% - Gyroid Hotend temp: 220°C Bed Temp: 62°C Speed: PLA up to 300mm/s TPU up to 55mm/s PLA: Elegoo Rapid PLA+ (Any Color) (others should work) TPU: Sainsmart A95 TPU (Any Color) (others should work)

The following instructions are for Elegoo CURA, please adapt them to your slicer:

Slice the model using the above specified settings. Make sure that you flip the model using the slicer tools so that the foot of the part is facing upward. Slice the model. Go to post processing and add a filament change* script and set it to layer 105. If you have the "ChangeatZ" macro in your firmware, you can add this as well, so that you can automatically change the print speed so that the print speed is around 50mm/s. Otherwise, you will need to wait until the filament change and the printer should had already backed the filament out (on Elegoo Neptune 4). Remove the filament and leave the filament sensor activated. Remove the filament completely and change filaments using the prompts provided by the printer. Next, turn off the large blower cooling fan on the Neptune using the power switch on the fan. Then press "continue" and then change the print speed to 70%, which should reduce the Neptune 4 print speed to acceptable speed for TPU. Allow the print to complete.

To filament change on Elegoo Neptune 4/PRO, you will need to modify the printer's firmware through the web interface. You can do this by using the "filament change" section of the klipper website sample-macros found here: https://github.com/Klipper3d/klipper/blob/master/config/sample-macros.cfg
