Hand holding a spider in cobweb string art
A creepy zombie/monster hand holding a spider in cobweb string art
A unique design, cobweb string art.
Great Halloween decoration or a cool art display / "creepy" themed decor. Whichever, it a talking point that will catch peoples attention for its uniqueness
*PLEASE READ CAREFULLY *
I will start by saying you are likely encounter at least a couple of failed strings. the strings that run from the frame to the centre prints twice, this is on purpose and gives two chances of the string adhering. if both strings complete they will fuse together. if any string fail just simply snip them off after its complete or you can pause during the print and carefully do as you go. A couple of failed stings can be part of string art and the double string print is to ensure the end product still looks/completes as intended. But you could equally be lucky and have no failed strings.
The web part circles once and i haven't had any issue.
I would suggest to print the web strings a different colour, it prints differently if its all one colour and doesn't work as well. i included a 3mf pre coloured.
0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer height. if you deviate from this you will get errors slicing. ignore the "you have floating regions" warning.
Finally I have only printed on Bambulab A1, i have not tested on another printers and cannot guarantee it working as expected.
