Remix of Fesitvus Pole by pezliz A fun little remix morphing Star Wars with Seinfeld for when Festivus gets to the feats of strength, it can get heated!
A print in place (blades only) collapsible Festivus pole-saber. Stands about 38 inches tall when extended and just taller than 8 inches when collapsed.
Suggest .2mm layers and if you want to the pole a different color, print the blade(s) separately.
I modified each originals slightly.
I printed the blades separately in vase mode, no bottom except for blade 1.
Blade 1 has a star recessed at the tip but will not show if printed in vase mode.
I added a star to glue onto the tip if you want one there.
Then I assembled the blades and extended them. If you PIP the blades just extend and glue in place.
Once extended you can safely glue the pole/blades into the base, let it dry before collapsing.
I used 3DGloop, dries in less than a minute but you gotta move fast with that stuff.
Printed with a dark wood for the base, silk dark silver for the pole and silk gold for the star.
