Garbage Pail Kids is a trading card series and franchise created by The Topps Company in the 1980s. It originated as a parody of the popular Cabbage Patch Kids dolls, but with a twist of humor and gross-out elements. The Garbage Pail Kids were designed to be humorous and often depicted as mischievous or grotesque children.
